Our Company
abf diagnostics is a medium-sized high-tech company based in beautiful Kranzberg near Munich.
We work closely with our customers to develop innovative products and solutions for DNA sample collection and forensics.
In our “DNA Sample Collection” business unit, we focus on systems and technologies for the detection, collection, transport, and storage of biological samples and traces.
In our “Digitalization” division, we market products and systems for the virtual documentation and 3D-reconstruction of crime scenes, forensic exhibits and traces.

Research and Development
We work closely with our customers to develop products and solutions for the detection, preservation, and mobile analysis of biological traces.
Our interdisciplinary development team consists of highly qualified engineers and scientists.
In addition, we work closely with a network of specialized, medium-sized partner companies that support us with their expertise.
Manufacturing
We manufacture our products under clean room conditions and in accordance with internationally recognized standards. Forensic products are additionally treated with ethylene oxide. Testing for DNA-free status is carried out in our own laboratories using highly sensitive PCR methods.
Quality Management
Our company’s internal processes and quality management are based on the international standards ISO 9001 and ISO 18385:2016.
All our products are tested for DNA-free status in accordance with our internal strict quality standards.
We have specially equipped PCR laboratories and the appropriate processes for detecting human DNA down to the quantities contained in a single human cell.
Marketing and Sales
We market products and services worldwide – either directly from Germany or in close cooperation with long-standing distribution partners.
