Photogrammetric measurements in sphericals and plans

A proprietary photogrammetric algorithm allows to measure distances and lengths in virtual crime scene copies.

To perform such measurements a reference length is required. In plansor maps the reference length is provided by the the internal scale (if known) or by any other known length. In order to measure in spherical images, it is necessary to take two images at different heights at one position. The two images and the height difference are then imported into Mosaic.
